About Me


Currently I am a freelance Fundraising Consultant - dedicated to sourcing ethical funding for global projects. As a strategic problem solver who is dedicated to social justice. I am passionate about finding innovative solutions to the problems that people face, and collaborating with great teams to foster a better world. 

As a development professional I have contributed to successful grant proposals totaling over 26 million, while managing day to day office functions and communication with donors of all levels. Beyond fundraising I am also well versed in reporting and have experience with monitoring and evaluation in the non-profit, international development and education sectors including Outcome Harvesting methods. 

Working with non-profits has allowed me to connect with diverse teams. I am adaptable and flexible and always seek to understand, in order to find the most effective solutions. I am a hard working professional who loves working with small teams toward large scale goals. I am a voracious reader, animal lover, avid traveler who would jump at the chance to chat with you about your most life changing books, furry friends or life’s greatest challenges.

Development Consultant
-Provide grant-writing support, including developing a concise and compelling reporting format that highlights critical top-level findings for donors, in collaboration with your team members.
-Develop tracking system/process for open grant discussions, draft proposals and projects.
-Develop rationale and budget estimates for grant proposals, as well as develop systems for tracking for reporting purposes.
-Monitoring key donors and sector mapping services to source new funding opportunities.

CAMFED, Toronto, Ontario Development Manager November 2019 – February 2020
Research • Contributed policy assessment and comprehensive research to five grant proposals, including Global Affairs Canada, Mastercard Foundation, and 60 Million Girls, to successfully raise over $25M CAD
Policy Analysis • Maintained and leveraged best practices with NGOs, government, community groups, and educational institutions in adherence to Canadian standards and the Feminist International Assistance Policy Leadership • Managed the Canadian office, coached and trained the development team on fundraising and communications, and built strong relationships with major partners like CCIC and CIEPWG

Development • Led the development of CAMFED’s office culture, the Canadian Board of Directors, hiring and recruitment, advisory groups and executive meetings, communication tools, and financial processes

Evaluation • Created research tools and strategies, collaborated with teachers, stakeholders, and project staff, and collected and analyzed information to complete the final evaluation report to secure future funding

ChildLinK Guyana, Guyana March - April 2016
Technical Research and Evaluation Assistant
Strategic Analysis • Led and implemented the evaluation of ChildLinK’s child protection programs to assess the impact on reducing corporal punishment experienced by 3,000 students in the most impoverished regions
Research • Designed and conducted surveys, interviews, and focus groups with over 500 students, teachers, stakeholders, parents and project staff in 16 different regions of the country to strengthen programming
